Robens camp

After a day of hiking you will rest for the night in our Robens camp. Giving you the chance to test and feel the gear quality in the field. Both of you will be gifted a unique Robens gear package tailored for the trek.

Guided hike

Led by mountaineerer Emma Østergaard as your guide and supported by the Robens team, you’ll explore the amazing landscape.

Up for it?

You don’t need to be a pro, but you do need to be up for a physical challenge and comfortable hiking for several hours carying your own gear in a big back pack - in uneven terrain.

We proudly present your guide - Emma Østergaard

Danish mountaineer Emma Østergaard doesn’t just rest on past achievements. Having already summited Mount Everest, she is currently in peak training for her next objective this summer: K2, widely regarded as the ultimate technical challenge in mountaineering.

This means your guide for the Robens Trek is operating at the absolute elite level of alpinism right now. Emma brings this current, world-class mindset and disciplined preparation directly to the rugged environment of Lofoten. She knows exactly what it takes to handle complex terrain under pressure. With Emma leading, you are in the hands of a professional whose technical skill and judgment are razor-sharp.

What it takes

The terrain & challenge

We move as a team, but make no mistake: this is a demanding adventure. We push from sea level straight to the 543m highest peak. The terrain shifts constantly—from established trails and occasional stairs to technical, rocky paths that demand focus. Prepare for strenuous legs and deeply rewarding hiking through a magical landscape.

Physical requirements
You don’t need to be a pro, but you should be physically fit, ready to carry your own gear, and comfortable hiking for several hours on uneven terrain.

Basecamp vs. the wild
Day one concludes at a site with full facilities—showers and toilets for a tactical reset. Night two is pure wild camping. We establish camp on a secluded beach accessible only by foot or boat.

Logistics & load management
We handle bulk transport between main destinations, allowing you to travel light with just a daypack on the initial leg. However, the push to the hidden beach requires full self-sufficiency. Here, you carry your own personal gear, plus a share of communal food, sleeping, and cooking equipment.

About Lofoten

Lofoten is where the mountains meet the Arctic Ocean. It is a raw, untamed wilderness defined by vertical granite walls, unpredictable weather, and technical trails.

We chose Lofoten as the destination because it demands self-reliance and offers a genuine challenge. Here, every meter of altitude gained is earned through sweat. We will navigate steep ascents and establish camp in some of the world's most spectacular, remote locations. Prepare for an adventure that will test your limits and feed your outdoor passion.
